There are abundant stone, gravel, sand and sedimentary materials in the world, materials could be used for producing fine aggregate with specific properties and characteristics for certain applications. Fine aggregate is extensively used in building highway, airstrips, pipelines and pavement, construction materials, and used for producing asphalt or concrete.
Aggregate Processing Plant
In aggregate production process, many different types of aggregate processing plant involved. The production can be classified into crushing, screening, washing, sand making etc.
- The aggregate crushing plant commonly used includes Jaw Crusher, Cone Crusher and Impact Crusher.
- Screening plant: In order to be graded, the gathered natural raw materials or the crushed mixture should be screened. There are two kinds of grading methods, hydraulic screening and mechanical screening. The large scale screening usually uses mechanical screening. There are two kinds of mechanical screening, eccentric vibration and inertia vibration.
- Washing plant: sand washing plant is an important machine in aggregate processing, it helps wash out the impurity material and produce high quality clean aggregates.
- Sand making: sand making machine is used to place the distributaried sewage mortar. Then after first washing, the sewage mortar is sent to sand washing machine for next washing. Artificial sands are processed by rod mill.
